KBO conducts bidding to select APBC 2023 broadcasting rights operators

 KBOP, a marketing subsidiary of KBO, will hold a bid to select a broadcasting rights operator for the Asia Professional Baseball Championship (APBC) 2023 tournament to be held in November.

The APBC, which marks its second anniversary this year since 2017, will be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan from November 16 to 19, with the participation of the national team consisting of younger generations, including players under the age of 24 or under three years of professional service.

The company selected as the APBC 2023 broadcasting right operator will have exclusive video rights and resale business rights such as live broadcasting, recording broadcasting, highlighting, and VOD streaming of all games (8 games), and will be in charge of producing, transmitting, and organizing APBC 2023 domestic broadcasting signals.
